Fun but...

Good game overall but combat can be frustrating. Even with good gear against lesser opponents both sides still miss wayyyy to often extending monotonous combat....miss miss miss miss miss...gets frustrating.

Very Well done ans addictive.

One of the best!

Great game

Not a fan of the top down view and the character movement between fights can be long. But.. It is Super addictive... I have not plyed a better RPG on Ipad. It is a great through back to playing table top rpgs. I can almost hear the dice rolling when I enter a room. Great little game.

Keeps crashing

Cant play

Good Game

This is a fun and light game. Would love to see more like it for iPad.

Not bad

The graphics are gorgeous and the game play is ok, but several things things turn me right off. You have to spend money to unlock new characters. Equipment is tied to individual characters, so I cant equip a robe because its for the $2 archmage only and not my wizard. The same dungeons get significantly more difficult each time you repeat them.

Remorazz

Good game well put together. I do not but anything online so it made this game annoying about the purchases. Beyond the real cash crap, its a good game.

Good game but crashes often

Overall, this is a great game. Lots of fun and hours of gameplay. However, the game crashes way too much on my iPhone 4 to the point where it gets very frustrating. Also, you get to a point where you realize that you cant advance further without buying gold to train or get new areas. Update: My rating got down to 1 now. My game keeps crashing when I load it and nothing even reinstall does not fix it. Im stuck and cant play anymore. Ill delete the game soon if there is no fix. If you fix the crashes, Ill get my rating up to 4.

Dece

Decent game kind of slow game play. Would have given it 5 stars but half the menus are dedicated to in app purchases which is lame for a $5 game. Also it seems like you start with 4 characters the only way to get others is to buy also lame. Was confused in first dungeon because boss attacked me then the battle randomly ended I am confused. Graphics are mint tho gameplay pretty fun.

Almost perfect

This game is really addicting but my guys miss WAY TO MUCH even with weapons with increased hits or whatever and to get expansions it costs a lot

Paywall at level 7 good dungeon slogger

But not an RPG: progression options are fixed. Graphics are great. Paywall at level 7 is really really annoying: need 40000 in gold to progress. Thatll cost you $30

Great Game

Needs expansion though.

Great production, but it has its faults

So I bought the game, and most of the DLC, and Ive put at least 10 hours into this game. Looks and sounds really good for a game on my phone. However, once you hit max level, the game makes enemies so tough, your chance to hit drops to about 10% and their chance to hit is about 70%. Plus youre always outnumbered. The game feels like the developers want you to spend money on these iAP instant kill bonuses, rather than reward good strategy.

Perfect

This is on my top 5 most played games. I have never been one for buying in game $hit but i loved this game so much that i had to buy all the characters and DLC content (of course on sale) but i freaking love this game so much. I would love to know when Wissenland will come out. Otherwise it is a perfect game.. Over 60 hours of gameplay (I know total nerd right?) but only crashed twice.

Where are all the Orc heroes gone?

Would play an arm and leg to lead a party of greenskin heroes! Very good game!

This Game Rocks!!

Five Stars!

Almost perfect

This is a great version of Warhammer Quest. My only problem is the difficulty level between Adventurer mode (too easy) and Hardcore mode (too hard). Hardcore mode has too many random encounters during a quest. Without the ability to recover between fights, the game quickly becomes all but impossible to win. I want a mode where you can die permanently, but where you wont get quite so many additional random encounters per dungeon.

Shallow dated cash grab Impeded by DLC

I do not recommend this game to anyone. First of all, theres almost $30 of dlc. If you dont buy the vampire pack or the zombie pack or the skaven pack then the only enemies you face throughout the entire game are orcs and spiders. An entire third of the map is restricted behind a paywall, whenever you try to travel to one of the regions there it says pleas visit the App Store. Even if you ignore the offensive business model, the game itself is crap. The design is really dated. Everything is based on dice rolls which are hidden from you - you cant actually see the calculations that are being preformed and must simply go for the higher number without actually knowing what it means. It isnt uncommon for your planning to be ruined just because your guy missed 4 (yes, four!) attacks in a row Your party levels up through combat so your wizard (healer) and archer naturally fall behind your maurader. There is literally no story at all, whenever you start a quest ( which you must do one at a time), you get a brief paragraph or so of flavour text explaining why youre doing what youre doing but these "plots" are randomly generated. Ive gotten the same one three times in a row now.

Miniature simulacrum

It has been over twenty-five years since my first encounters with Games Workshop games. This tactical floor plan crawler looks great and you neednt worry if you dont have Golden Demon level miniature painting skills, as everything from cobweb to bloodstained cobblestone is included in finest detail. I love the pop up miniature village animation for the locations. My only quibble would be the lack of an isometric view, or indeed any other view than the plan view. I always did enjoy the weight of the figures and pondering what paint would suit them best. This game has fun role-playing flavour text for the missions and occurrences throughout. An instapurchase with some longevity no doubt.

Reminds of old times

Whoever played Shadow of the Horned Rat and Dark omen will enjoy this game especially.
