fun and nostalgic

As noted with other feedback all additional variety packs cost money and cant be unlocked through game play, which is somewhat disappointing.

However, the game mechanics are well done and are the familiar feel of games in the 90s we so love. As noted in another review, xp is gained mostly through combat, and I noticed my wizard was not lvling as fast as marauder. However, experience is also gained by healing and wiz does have some abilities. Wiz character requires thoughtful strategy and a bit of luck which I think enriches the game experience.

I purchased this game when it was free or .99 so it was worth it to me. I gave it 3 stars because the game was made a decade ago and highly priced in app purchase. For nostalgia games, this doesnt work for me. If i wanna pay $30 Ill go buy a D&D book.
